Blend the arts and sciences as we learn the in’s-and-out’s of during this Botanical Illustration workshop.

Participants will complete a botanical illustration during a guided, step-by-step process. Throughout this process, participants will learn how to observe the plant and think critically about plant morphology. We will also learn basic plant anatomy as well as plant classification. While no art experience is necessary, it is helpful to already understand basic color theory and how colored pencils blend. While this program is geared for adults, children ages 8+ are welcome to join in and learn about drawing plants!
