Colors of the Garden Virtual Presentation
Explore the colors of the rainbow as we investigate the purpose of colors of the garden during this hour long presentation special for Gifts from the Garden Month! Why are flowers so vibrant? What does black and orange mean when seen on a butterfly visiting a milkweed plant? We’ll take a look at the various pigments found in nature and their functions during this virtual presentation highlighting the photography of Marissa Jacobs (creator of The Art of Ecology).
Admission to this virtual Colors of the Garden “lunch-and-learn” is $5. A portion of the proceeds will benefit wildlife conservation & habitat preservation efforts.
Zoom link will be emailed to you upon registration. If you miss the program, or can’t make it during that time, still register anyway! An exclusive recording link will be emailed to all registrants the next day. If you know that you will miss the program, please email any potential questions or plants you’d like addressed during the presentation ahead of time to Marissa, at mjacobs@theartofecology.com and I will make sure to answer them during the presentation.
