Creek Stompin’ & Critter Watchin’ Nature Fun

Join The Art of Ecology for a morning of nature fun, geared towards getting you and your family outside, exploring riparian habitats, and discovering the critters that call creeks, streams, and riparian buffers their home with Creek Stompin’ fun.

What to Expect:

During this Creek Stompin’ & Critter Watchin’ Nature Fun program, participants will explore the stream and all of the incredible life that it holds during this outdoor program at Kerr Park. Kids and families will get the chance to create their own take-home underwater viewer to inspect what sticks to the underside of creek rocks, what has the amazing ability to walk on water, what basks in the sun along the creek edge, and what swims below the surface in search of delicious insect snacks! This event is rain-or-shine, so dress accordingly. Water shoes and pants/shorts that can get wet are highly encouraged.
