Sustainable Seed Starters Workshop

DIY Sustainable Seed Starters that Support Wildlife AND You!

Start planning a garden that supports not just you, but the ecosystem as a whole! We will create biodegradable, sustainable seed starters with native plants for pollinators, birds, and other wildlife that also have medicinal or edible value for the humans that plant them! A variety of seeds (both veggie and flower) will be available for planting, and each participant can expect to bring home 6 seed starters of their choice.

Participants will also learn how to care for their seeds so that they can grow to maturity in time to be transplanted in a raised bed, ground, or pot in the next month or so. We will discuss soil health, seed germination, root health, and light requirements for young seedlings.

All materials provided, but bring gardening gloves if you wish! A portion of the proceeds will be donated back to Bucks Audubon. Admission is $35/pp.
