Winter Birding & Attracting Diversity with DIY Feeders

Discover the tranquility and beauty of winter birds during this bird ID and bird feeder workshop!

What To Expect:

Learn how to identify the winter birds that fly through your community by sight and sound, then put your new skills to the test during a brief birding walk. After the walk, we shall discuss how we can attract the widest diversity of winter birds to our neighborhoods, and the importance of providing food resources as conservation measures while we create fruit and seed feeders. Participants are welcome to bring binoculars or cameras with a telephoto lens for the birding walk, however it’s not required. All other materials are provided.
