Discover Kenyan life, culture, challenges faces, and beauty of the natural world during my virtual photographic presentations. Each virtual presentation is roughly 1 hour long and will have ample time for questions. Registration for the presentation is free, however you can contribute what you wish to support the educational programs of The Art of Ecology and other organizations (African wildlife conservation groups & empowerment/leadership organizations in Kenya)!
On May 20th at 7pm, join me on a wild journey to explore the flora & fauna of Kenya, as I present about my most recent trip to the Maasai Mara, Nyaketch, Kisumu, and Nairobi regions of Kenya! During this presentation, you’ll learn more about how lions rely on shrubs in the grasslands of Maasai Mara, about the intricate nest building behaviors of birds like the Hammerkops, about the competitive relationships of hippos as they eat grasses along stream banks, and more! A portion of the proceeds is donated to African wildlife conservation groups, like the Giraffe Conservation fund, David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, and African Wildlife Foundation.
On June 3rd at 7pm, we will dive in to how empowerment projects not only help people learn skills, but also impact the environment, as I present about my most recent trip to the Maasai Mara, Nyaketch, Kisumu, and Nairobi regions of Kenya!
