These courses are great for beginners or those who are looking to learn more about the botanical world. After watching the introductory course, try out the “Focus on F” series! This series provides a more in depth look at various organisms, including Ferns, Flowers, Fungi, and Foliage that will help you observe plants in a new way and enhance your art.

Pause, rewind, repeat, and watch whenever you want, even if it’s only for 10 minutes at a time while learning more about the botanical illustration process. Upon purchase, you will be emailed a link to the e-course to watch whenever you’d like.

“Introduction to Botanical Illustration”: Discover the art and science of botanical illustration! Learn about the materials needed and how to create a piece from start to finish using colored pencils. This course is perfect for those wishing to start their botanical illustration or art journey.

“Focus on Fungi”: Discover the various classifications of fungi (focusing on Basidiomycetes and Ascomycetes) to better understand and notice patterns throughout wild fungi! You will also take a deeper look at club fungi anatomy, where to find a variety of fungi during nature hikes, and some tips & tricks for illustrating them.
