Marissa Jacobs (The Art of Ecology) is an Environmental & Conservation Educator. She blends the arts with science to deepen understanding and build stronger connections between people and the natural world. She is an international speaker, professional development educator, award-winning nature photographer & eco-gardener, Certified Tree Tender, Certified National Geographic Educator and has spent the past two years as a Mentor for their Certificate Program. She holds a B.S. in Conservation & Wildlife Management with a focus in Media & Art. Marissa has 10 years of education experience for all ages, from Pre-School & Montessori Learning Environments, through retired adult and continuing education.

Does your group want to explore and engage with the natural world for a hands-on presentation? Get outside (year round) or stay indoors (ideal for programs November – February) and touch, observe, and interact your way to a deeper understanding of the local ecosystems. Perfect for groups with property to explore or who can take a field trip. (Please note – Private Guided Walks are capped at 16 people and include travel time up to a 30 min. radius of Coatesville, PA.)
