Virtual Botanical Illustration Workshop | IntroductionJoin me for a 4 week series on botanical illustration! We will be using Discord (get the free app here) for Audio & Video chatting. All you need is a drawing medium (paper or digital software), pencils & pens, and a creative mind (maybe a little wine too!) and I’ll do the rest! National Geographic Professional Development for JTASD EducatorsThanks to a Grant from National Geographic, alumni Marissa Jacobs-Farra will provide a FREE professional development opportunity for any Middle School- High School teacher regardless of discipline to discover how to use citizen science as a tool to increase geographic and environmental literacy in students as well as broaden horizons for career exploration. Part of the day will be outside, so please dress accordingly.

Trail-to-Tasting | Foraged Cocktail WorkshopAs the exciting culmination event to my video mini-series (register here for the series), join me for an evening of exploring the trails to learn more about foraging for wild edibles and how to create your own, specialty handcrafted cocktail! Each participant can try several cocktails, create their own, and receive a cocktail recipe & edible gardening packet – complete with seeds! Space is limited to ensure social distancing.
