Eco-Explorers Nature Journaling Class for Kids (ages 8-13)Spend the last weeks of Summer Break honing your nature detective skills as you explore the natural world in search of the smallest beetle, the largest leaf, and the most colorful butterfly during this Nature Journaling class. Each week, we will learn a new Nature journaling technique, as well as focus on a different aspect of the natural world to document in our journals. Students will improve their art & drawing, observation, critical thinking, and communication skills. A materials list will be provided, however all nature journaling materials can be provided for pick-up (additional cost). Zoom link for all 4 weeks will be sent out upon registration.

Lunch & Learn with The Art of Ecology – Staghorn Ferns Join me for an hour of discovering more about plants, their care, and their natural environments as we create beautiful plant-themed home décor, drink coffee, and eat delicious local food at Brig-o-Doon! Registration is required for each lunch & learns. Materials provided, food is not. Each month focuses on a different topic and is great for all ages 12+ . Today, we learn about tree-climbing plants (called epiphytes) as we create beautifully mounted Staghorn Ferns!
