What To Expect:

Explore the wonderful world that God made through this Environmental Science private homeschool class! Each month, the session will include a guided nature exploration, game or community science data collection, a take-home project, and time spent in God’s Word all tied to the day’s theme. All sessions will also include a worksheet to be added to a homeschool folder and each session will address PA State Science standards, address STEAM ideals, will be interdisciplinary, and led through place-based & inquiry-based education.

Who Can Attend?

This monthly session is ONLY open to homeschool students in this specific private group. For interest in setting up Environmental Education programming (secular or faith-based) for your homeschool students or co-op, please contact Marissa at mjacobs@theartofecology.com for inquiries.

Inclement Weather & Other Details:

Location – 52 Martin Rd., Coatesville PA.

Admission – $13.50/first child, $9/sibling (10% discount is included). Pre-Registration is REQUIRED (however payments can be made on the day of the session). Click HERE to register. Payments can be made via cash, check, online, or Venmo @Marissa-Farra and are due the day of the lesson.

Class Dates: 1st Wednesday of each month

All materials will be provided, however if your child has their own Bible and notebook, please bring them along. All sessions will include an outdoor portion, AND a creative project portion. Please have your children dress accordingly. In the case of severe snow, wind, or thunderstorms that result in the outdoor time or roads becoming unsafe, the sessions will be rescheduled. The session will be rescheduled if the instructor is sick. No-shows (without canceling at least 2 days ahead of time), still need to pay. Materials & worksheets will be left for that parent to run the activity with their child on their own.
