Autumn Foraging Workshop

Discover the richness of fall life as we identify wild-edibles in the busy landscape in this Autumn Foraging Workshop.

What To Expect:

We will take a foraging walk around the property before heading back to the center to try some seasonal wild-edibles and create our own tea blends use to enrich and strengthen our bodies during the workshop. The first portion of the event will take place outside, learning about foraging etiquette, sustainability, and plant ID. Foraging Documents to create your own Materia Medica (foraging book) will be available. Each participant will also get to create their own custom loose-leaf tea blend made from locally foraged plants.

Pease dress according to the weather. During this Autumn Foraging Workshop, participants can try savory Queen Anne’s Lace-Dandelion mini-pies, Wild Berry & Grape jam over crackers, Mulled Crabapple Wine (alcoholic), and Dandelion Root Coffee (non-alcoholic).
